The 2021 Regular Local (School) Election will be conducted in New Mexico on November 2, 2021. To see or download the Local Election Calendar and Declaration of Candidacy Form,

The calendar includes all the numerous requirements and deadlines established by statute for school boards, county clerks and school board candidates, the first of which of which takes place on June 5, 2021. Of particular interest to school board members is the date for filing your declaration of candidacy which is August 24, 2021.
