Transporting Students During COVID-19
To ensure student and staff safety:
  • Parents will need to be present as their children boards the bus to school in the mornings.  If a parent cannot be present, they must write a statement relinquishing CCSD of any liabilities if anything should happen to their child. 
  • Parents will need to be present as their children unloads the bus after school.  If a parent cannot be present, they must write a statement giving us permission to drop the child off and must state they are relinquishing CCSD of any liabilities if anything should happen to their child. 
  • Students and parents will model social distancing at bus stops while loading and unloading. 
  • All students will be required to wear face mask/covering to ride the bus.  The first infraction will be a verbal warning.  The 2nd infraction will be a write up sent to the principal.  The 3rd infraction is a suspension from bus privileges.  
  • Students will only be allowed to ride 1 bus.  Students will not be allowed to ride an alternate bus
  • Seating on the bus will be limited to 2 per seat.  All seats will be utilized, maximum of 48 passengers. 
  • Buses will be cleaned and disinfected daily. 
  • Automatic hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed on the buses.  
  • There will be no field trips or non-essential travel. 
  • Students will load bus seats from the rear forward (to avoid walking past each other). 
  • Students will not be allowed to eat or drink on the bus.
