The new ruling sides with CCSD’s appeal of the State’s impact aid certification for the 2020-2021 school year, in which CCSD argued that among other procedural and technical violations, the State missed the statutory deadline for submittal. As a result, the new ruling revoked the State’s impact aid certification for the 2020-2021 school year. Together with the previous denial of State certification for the 2019-2020 school year and revocation of certification for the 2020-2021 school year, these actions result in a combined total of approximately 30 million additional dollars for CCSD students.
