Federal Programs Specialist, Erica Harvey-Benally
Ya'at'eeh. Shi ei Erica Benally yinishye.
Todik'ozhi nishli, Hashk'aa hadzohi bashishchiin, Ashiihi da shi cheii, doo Tabaahi da shi nali. Hello. My name is Erica Benally. I am of the Salt Water Clan born for the Yucca Strung-Out-In-a-Line Clan. My maternal grandfathers are of the Salt Clan and my paternal grandfathers are of the Edge Water Clan. I live and work in Shiprock, NM. I have been with the district for 17 years. Throughout my career, I have worked in several departments where I have gained extensive knowledge and experiences that have truly helped me understand the ins and outs of a school district. I believe the only departments I need to check off my list are the Transportation and Maintenance (ha ha ha). During the 2021-22 school year, I transferred from the Finance Department and rejoined the Curriculum & Instruction Department - Federal Programs Office. In a sense, I came full circle since I first joined CCSD. It has been a great adventure thus far and I plan to continue to learn and grow.
