Central Consolidated School District is pleased to announce its completed housing project near the Central Office and Mesa Heights near Mesa Elementary School. The housing project sets the standard of teacher housing for the state of New Mexico. According to New Mexico Public School Facilities Authority (PSFA), the district is taking the initiative to set the trend and become a model of teacher housing for the rest of New Mexico school districts.
The housing project started its groundbreaking on April 30, 2021, and will house ten homes at Mesa Heights and five at Central Office. The teacher housing will impact teaching possibilities in the community and out of state.
